Student Halo Hub is our flagship international export, providing comprehensive peer support and gender equality frameworks to universities globally.
The model addresses the unique vulnerabilities international students face including family pressure, restrictions on autonomy, forced marriage threats, and cultural barriers to help-seeking, creating inclusive campus cultures where every student can thrive regardless of gender, culture, or background.
Our offering includes student champion training programmes creating peer support networks, multilingual digital platforms providing confidential resources and guidance, CPD-accredited staff professional development building educator confidence and competence, and institutional integration frameworks embedding gender equality throughout curriculum, campus culture, and policy.
Proven to improve student retention, enhance institutional reputation, and meet international accreditation requirements, Student Halo Hub is currently expanding across Gulf universities with plans for broader global implementation.
Our international programmes are underpinned by exceptional expertise and proven track records. CEO Yasmin Khan served eight years as National Adviser for Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence to the Welsh Government, developing the legislative and policy frameworks that underpin Wales’ world-leading whole-system approach, demonstrating our capacity to drive systemic change at national scale.
We authored the police super-complaint “Invisible Survivors” which was upheld by HMICFRS, resulting in thirteen national recommendations improving responses to honour-based abuse and forced marriage across UK policing. Our Student Halo Hub model has operated successfully in UK universities including Teesside University for over ten years, with sixty-two percent student uptake and measurable improvements in retention and campus culture.
We have delivered transnational programmes supporting students and survivors across borders, understanding the complexities of immigration status, cultural identity, and family dynamics spanning multiple countries, ensuring our international work is informed by real-world experience of cross-border safeguarding challenges and opportunities.
